Introduction
Welcome to Beyond Bloomsbury, an ongoing anthology of historical artist and writer Biographies and curated Gallery and Library collections. Thank you for visiting!
I’m Victoria, a historian, writer and doctoral scholar interested in the intersections of early twentieth-century art, literature and history, with a particular focus on the life and work of the Bloomsbury Group and their contemporaries.
Before pursuing doctoral research, I achieved an honours degree in Art History (BA), two postgraduate degrees in Art History (MA) and Journalism (MA), and received awards from the National Council for the Training of Journalists.
I launched Beyond Bloomsbury in recognition of the artists and writers I explore in my research, as well as this important period in art and literary history. Occasionally, I also celebrate artists and writers before Bloomsbury.
