Welcome to Beyond Bloomsbury, an ongoing anthology of historical artist and writer Biographies and curated Gallery and Library collections. Thank you for visiting!
I’m Victoria, a historian and writer working towards a PhD thesis and non-fiction manuscript on early twentieth-century art, literature and history - with a particular interest in the Bloomsbury Group and their contemporaries. Before pursuing doctoral and professional research, I earned an undergraduate honours degree in Art History and two Master’s degrees studying Film & Literary History, and Journalism.
While I launched Beyond Bloomsbury in recognition of the artists and writers I explore in my research, I also want to celebrate the artists and writers who lived and worked before. So, whether you are a lover of beyond Bloomsbury or before Bloomsbury, I hope you will join me in honouring them all!
