+ New Year Launch: Bloomsbury Investigates [historical mysteries]

Dear Reader,
May I wish you a Happy New Year once again. I hope it has been a happy and healthy 2025 for you thus far.
Before I introuduce you to Bloomsbury Investigates, a quick re-introudction to yours truly. My name’s Victoria and I’m a historian, writer, and doctoral scholar of early twentieth-century art, literature and history, with a particular interest in the life and work of the Bloomsbury Group.
I launched Beyond Bloomsbury to celebrate these remarkable artists and writers, their friends and contemporaries, and this incredibly important period in art and literary history. The collection so far can be viewed in the Archive, with a curated selection of art and words from the Bloomsbury Gallery and the Bloomsbury Library.
While free subscribers receive collections from the Bloomsbury Gallery and Bloomsbury Library, paid subscribers also receive Beyond Bloomsbury biographies and, until now, occasional Before Bloomsbury biographies.
However, Before Bloomsbury has undergone a radical makeover and I’m excited to launch Bloomsbury Investigates - an occasional essay where I delve into a range of historical mysteries before and beyond Bloomsbury - literary, visual arts or otherwise.
If you would like to receive all new biographies, gallery and library collections + historical investigations, plus access those already in the archive, just hit one of the buttons above or below.
Thank you for reading, and I wish you a wonderful week ahead!
