I loved this - it reminded me of how much I used to love Saki (I would re-read my copy of his complete short stories at least once a year).

I have never read Saki before & appreciate this engaging introduction. The lively characterization of the girl undermines stereotypical childhood constructs in such an entertaining manner. I love how she controls her own narrative literally & figuratively through her imaginative power!
